The Yucatan Touristic Promotion Secretariat, in collaboration with iFly, a local pilot school, presented the project "Vuela Yucatán" ('Fly Over Yucatan'), which consists in giving tourists panoramic flights of the most important areas of Yucatan State.
These flights could take off from Merida International Airport, the hangar located at iFly facilities, or from the Kaua Airport. The point of these tours is to give tourists an aerial view of Las Coloradas, Celestún, Izamal, Uxmal, Chichen Itza, among others.
"These flights can range from $6k to $9k pesos for three people in a CESSNA 172, depending on the selected route, and from $4.5k to $6.75k pesos in a PIPISTREL VIRUS for 1 passenger", informed the Secretary.
According to what Michelle Fridman, Touristic Promotion Secretary, reported, this project is part of the 365 days in Yucatan strategy, as part of one of the new touristic attractions of the entity.
